The most important thing is of course to eat a balanced diet, get fresh air and move daily if you want the body and the bud to feel the best, but a small boost is never wrong. Personally, I love supplements and see them as as important a part of my morning and evening routine as face wash and serum. Keep scrolling to see which tablets I can, but do not want, live without!

VITAMIN D
A must if you live in Sweden, I would say, where the sun is almost non-existent eight months a year. Vitamin D regulates the calcium balance in bones and teeth and has a proven effect on mental well-being. It is important to remember, however, that vitamin D is fat-soluble and should therefore always be taken with some form of fat, so it is easiest to take it with a meal.
SELENIUM
Selenium is an antioxidant that contributes to healthy hair and nails, supports the normal function of the immune system and protects cells from oxidative stress (which, among other things, causes wrinkles). Brazil nuts are a natural source that is rich in selenium.
BIOTIN
Biotin, like other vitamin B, is needed for healthy skin, hair, eyes and liver. They also help the nervous system to function properly. In addition, Biotin is needed to break down carbohydrates, fats and protein.
ASHWAGANDHA
Ashwagandha is extracted from a root of the same name. In Ayurveda, Ashwagandha is used as a strengthening, balancing and rejuvenating herb. It is also said to have a positive effect on sleep, weight, immune system, enhance the effects of exercise, increase sex drive, fertility, improve memory and fitness.
MAGNESIUM
I take magnesium mainly in the evening because it helps the muscles relax. It is a mineral that controls several vital processes in the body. It regulates, among other things, the metabolic processes that enable us to assimilate nutrients from the diet. The mineral is also needed to maintain a strong skeleton and for the sake of the immune system.
ZINC
Zinc helps keep hair, skin and nails normal and is also an antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress. Zinc is an essential mineral that the body needs. It is found in all cells of the body, but especially in the skeleton, muscles and eyes. I also take this before bedtime.
